Meghan Markle: Actress Met in Old Show Hours Before Switch to ‘Suits’ Finale

A recently released behind-the-scenes clip features a jaw-dropping cameo from newly minted Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.

In the clip, Meghan sits down with Ellen DeGeneres and talks about her days on the television show “Suits,” while Jenna Bush Hager is waiting to go on the show.

“Suits” will end at the end of this season.

Meghan’s appearance is great news for “Suits” fans, who were disappointed when the TV show was in limbo.

Fox News reported that a Kensington Palace spokesman announced in August 2018 that Markle would not be returning to the show. Markle has also reportedly quit her role as an actress on “Suits.”

During the interview, Ellen warns Meghan that her comments could be used in her former show’s upcoming finale.

Meghan breaks out into laughter and says, “No, that’s great, that’s fantastic,” as her former co-stars pose with her on the “Suits” set.

Markle joked with Ellen about the famous line: “Everyone does. They all just make out and pull your panties down. Good luck with your love life though, honey. See you tonight.”

Meghan appeared on “Suits” for seven seasons. She played feisty paralegal Rachel Zane, a character who appeared in both “Suits” and the original “Suits” movie, produced by Gina Torres.

Katie Lowes, who plays Zane’s on-screen cousin, also appeared on the show.

In one episode titled “Suits,” Zane is partnered with Jeff Kessler, a character played by Patrick J. Adams.

In real life, Adams married Meghan’s former best friend, Abby Wambach.

Sterling K. Brown, who plays Jefferson “Jeff” Kessler on the show, is one of only two remaining cast members.
