Louis C.K. and Team America Take on America’s Weirdest Landmarks in Second Season of ‘The Great’

It’s almost that time of year again.

“The Great” returns for its second season of family fun on Comedy Central.

The show takes an unlikely road trip across America taking on some of America’s most outlandish landmarks. Emmy Award Winner Louis C.K. returns as host, with comedian Matt Braunger, recent Daily Show Emmy winner Samantha Bee, Norwegian comedy duo Borgore and award-winning actress and writer Jen Kirkman joining C.K.

The stars of the cult hit series, Brother Coco, Mon Dieu!, Pet Smell!, Anand Acharya, Johnny Knoxville, Daniel Mintz, and Pablo Munguia, return along with a slew of special guests from the worlds of film, television, music, comedy and sports.

In the season premiere, “Patootie & Margene Take the Country by Storm!” Ivan “Big Val” Dracoules (Louis C.K.) does what he loves best — instructing his live-in girlfriend, Margene (Tara Lynne Barr), on how to make “patootie.” Meanwhile, America’s favorite former lovebirds, Brother Coco (Matt Braunger) and Pharoah (Jack Black), are off the grid at their honeymoon while Mette (Jen Kirkman) hosts the most unbelievable Comedy Central standup tour since “Team America.” But when the Death Star is about to blow the supply line to the remaining Cmon C-Berry, Papa Booey (Topher Grace) leads an armed vigilante force to steal back the lone C-Berry in Micropolis.

In the second episode, “Head of the Fold” Marc Maron and Marc Maron Light Up the Air hang with pioneering teacher and mentalist Marc Almond, named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the World’s Most Successful Mentalist. Meanwhile, Fran and Bobby embark on a spin-off from Goodfellas called The Last Donors.
