Laura Ingraham impersonates Alec Baldwin’s Trump and laughs uproariously at Nicki Minaj’s verse

She did it again. As the Gossip Girl star, 28, serenaded “You” during the show’s 150th episode, the liberal host, 54, smirked at a screen showing Alec Baldwin’s Trump during a slumber party at the White House. Baldwin’s impression as Trump has taken over the nation over the past year, and fueled criticism that the Emmy winner is anti-Trump. “You’re laughing because you know exactly what’s coming,” Ingraham told her conservative audience. “It’s just a satirical bit of improv!”

Did you see @alecbaldwin’s toupee today on @foxandfriends ? Is it a toupee or a wig? @lostidiot pic.twitter.com/YJmCDsJKsE — Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) October 18, 2018

The segment went viral, with some people saying they preferred the original version.

But the two performers apparently bonded over the confusion. “A mutual friend of ours made us talk. Not your average conversation, but still very interesting,” Badgley told Complex. “We were talking and the casualness of it, I think, just left him genuinely amused, and we were laughing, so we made sure to share it. Because it was so lighthearted and meant for a bit of comedy, I don’t think we could have gotten away with it any other way.”

We love @lostidiot! What a joy to watch his new “You” bit with Alec Baldwin. Thank you #LauraIngraham! — Tracy Weeks (@sunnyalaska) October 19, 2018

Shortly before, Ingraham had Tweeted, “You’re laughing because you know exactly what’s coming.”

After “I forgot my husband’s name in bed” and “I’m nervous to go to bed now that I’m late,” as @alecbaldwin assumes the role of Trump is not nearly as funny as his act last night. That’s life. So, would Lathan and Farrow like to come on our couch and set up next week? https://t.co/ORxWZ1w96A — Laura Ingraham (@IngrahamAngle) October 19, 2018

Pretty good work, I think the viewers of today, Laura, you fooled them last night. https://t.co/ac4reJUUJh — 👻Rike Ewing🌲 (@rikeewing) October 19, 2018

Both celebrities were on the hit show for its 50th anniversary.
